Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the official release, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Content

This update also adds the game's latest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
