Seattle engineered a remarkable comeback to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, securing their place in the postseason.

Rallying from a 30-14 hole in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed by a single point at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Rams had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a twelve and three record, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the number five seed with an eleven and four standing.

Quarterback Darnold had two interceptions but recovered to make two touchdown passes, including the second TD to wideout Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The Rams held a 13-7 lead at the break before Walker broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.

Rams cornerback Wallace then took back Darnold's first pick for 56 yards, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Corum on the next play.

In the final stanza, a touchdown from Stafford to Nacua pushed the advantage to 30-14, but Shaheed provided Seattle's comeback with a 58-yard punt return.

Darnold then connected with Barner in the endzone, and a converted two-point play forced the contest into an extra period.

Although Nacua scored for his another TD in overtime, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to set up the decisive score.
